Woodturning Tool Sharpening Symposium

Southwest Washington Woodturners will host a Woodturning Tool Sharpening Symposium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at Friends of the Carpenter, 1600 W. 20th St., Vancouver. Woodturners are invited to try multiple woodturning tool sharpening systems. A representative from D-Way Tools will be onsite to demonstrate how they sharpen their turning tools and there will also be a large selection of tools for sale. The cost to attend is $20 for club members or $55 for nonmembers, which includes a one-year membership to the Southwest Washington Woodturners. Learn more at southwestwashingtonwoodturners.org.
