Join the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener Program for a free guided tour of the 79-acre 78th Street Heritage Farm at Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 19th Court in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver. Tour dates are 10 a.m. June 10, 13, July 8, Aug. 1, 11 and 19; and 6 p.m. June 22, 27, July 12, 19, 24 and Aug. 28. Stroll the farm with a docent and learn about the property’s storied history and its current role in horticulture education, agricultural research, food security and community enrichment. The 78th Street Farm was placed on the Washington Historic Register in 2012. Tours last an hour and a half and involve prolonged standing and walking on uneven ground with some elevation change.
